Apple Cider Donuts with Local Flavors
Our apple cider donuts with local flavors grew out of rainy harvest days when we would tinker in the farmhouse kitchen, seeing what else we could fold into that beloved cider batter. Today, you might find hints of our own frozen berries, a swirl of Grandma Oma's jam, or a drizzle of blackberry honey worked into glazes and toppings. Each batch still starts with real cider and that familiar, tender crumb, but the accents nod to what is growing and buzzing around the farm. Pick up an assortment, share them around a thermos of coffee or cocoa, and let everyone choose a favorite. It is a sweet little tour of our fields and beeyards, one donut at a time.
